Made my Job easier and faster. Very light weight and efficient cut-off tool for tile. It is very light weight, I've tried it with small subway tile, works fine without any issue. We also remove the depth gauge (the stainless steel bracket), it gives us more freedom and control of the unit.

Used it to cut vinyl siding which it does pretty well. If the blade gets pinched while cutting it stalls out and you have to release the battery and reengage the battery to get it to start again.

I've been replacing my DeWalt stuff as it ages, mostly.. I've been replacing my DeWalt stuff as it ages, mostly the batteries. Ryobi has an 18V battery to fit like everything. DeWalt has a scummy three 18V setups not interchangeable. Just got Ryobi finish nailer.

Much smaller and easier to handle than an angle grinder, but packs a surprisingly powerful punch. I've cut PVC pipe, wood, and 3/16 steel with it. Some reviewers complain about lack of Ryobi blade availability. They don't seem to realize this comes with a 3/8 arbor adapter that allows you to use blades from other manufacturers (Diablo, etc). This is a great all purpose cutoff saw.

On the upside the RYOBI ONE+ HP PSBID01CN Impact Driver is compact and lightweight but still delivers a powerful punch when driving in screws. The downside though it doesn't have a magnetic plate to hold extra screws, a notch to hold a driver bit nor a belt clip. Another thing I noticed is that this model says it's an HP which means that there should be two battery leads near the bottom to take advantage of the HP batteries. Cut wood better than Milwaukee 3 inch cutoff. I have Ryobi this cuttoff and Milwaukee cut off. This Ryobi is more powerful. Milwaukee does have a nicer guide and cuts straighter. I'm using a Diablo 3inch blade for cutting wood. This small cut-off tool has great balance when the battery is attached.

Excellent ID for its size. I have the P238 ID and it is my workhorse for heavy duty work such as 3 1/2 in and longer screws. However THIS lightweight ID is the one I take with me in my car and keep with me at home and at work. Light weight enough to not tire my hands out after 30 minutes of work. Powerful enough for most of my around the house and office needs.

EXCELLENT tool and powerful for its size. One caveat: if one is going to be driving 3" screws regularly, and 3 1/2" and 4 screws on a regular basis, the P238 should be considered. However, this one will do if the holes are pre-drilled half way - meaning if only a few times the larger screws are needed, this one can do that in the aforementioned way. This is my side kick for general run of the mill screws and even hex drills!

I like the extras it comes with. I'm in love with ryobi! Used to open CBS wall stress cracks. I live in South Florida, where CBS construction homes develop thin stress cracks along the mortar joints.

You typically have to fill these cracks with elastomeric sealant before you paint. Doing this by hand with a metal can opener is rather tedious.

I've used a 4-1/2 grinder before with some success. When I saw this cut-off tool, I jumped right on it.

The tool is light weight and easy to use. For my purpose, the built-in depth gauge allows me to set how deep a groove I'm cutting into the wall and it works quite well. After some trial and error, I found was that inexpensive "metal" cutting disks worked best overall. They readily wear out in this application but, they are so inexpensive that they wind up costing less to use than the ones designed for concrete or ceramic tile cutting. The tool is well balanced and it handles well.

Love the forward/ reverse option! Had been using the larger grinders for metal cutting, but not anymore! This thing is super easy to handle and does the same job as the large grinders if not better. The reverse mode is perfect for not showering sparks all over your face.

I have used this on a couple of projects little unit is quite handy. I do a lot of projects with chicken wire. Having 6.5 acres and more animals than brain cells i build alot of enclosures. I put in a cutting wheel and was able to zip through 6 ft chicken wire in sections.
